Over the past year there have been situations in my life, probably yours too, that I have stopped and thought "why am I going through this" or "what are you trying to teach me Lord?" I feel close to God as I search for clues and answers. I dig as deep as He will allow me to go. Show me things that He only wants me to see or hear. And sometimes I still get so focused on other things that are just a distraction or diversion from me hearing or seeing the truth. Now there's a word that is easy to say but hard to swallow...truth. People of the world and sometimes myself, even as a Christian, have a hard time hearing the truth about a circumstance or situation. I was talking with someone today about speaking truth to others even when it might mean being demoted or persecuted for it. We know that what we are saying is truth but to the receiving party it doesn't come across that way..it seems to be a personal attack, and we certainly don't mean it that way of course. To be a follower of Christ..speaking the truth in love can cause us to be put into other situations that may not be the ideal place that we thought God would take us for speaking the truth. I have one other observation to that...be patient (which is one of the hardest things to do)...God see's your motive...He see's your heart...He knows what you are trying to do..He will show Himself MIGHTY in HIS time and on HIS schedule. If HE is for us who can be against us? If He loves us as much as claims...why would you think we wouldn't get victory in the end? As long as it depends on you...TRUST Him to do what He says He will and is going to do.
Do you have any stories where you spoke the truth and the outcome wasn't what you expected God to produce?

Good looking site. I like it. Very interesting message this am. It has me thinking but I think I need to get coffee to ponder this anymore.
